I would like to welcome you to the new Carmarthen Breakthro website. It is my aim, as coordinator, to provide all of our children with a fun, caring and safe environment in which everyone, of all ages and abilities, feels welcome and able to fulfil their potential. We will endeavour to provide the children with fun, challenging, varied and rewarding activities come rain or shine. This summer is a new start for Breakthro and I believe that the future is bright. I believe that the children must come first and we will live by our new motto, “If it’s fun, it can be done”
We have a wonderful team of committed staff, a beautiful refurbished base full of great things to play with and a large outdoor play area.
I am currently president of Breakthro’ having previously been chair for 15 years. I became involved because I have two boys with learning difficulties for whom Breakthro’ was the centre of their social life. They made friends, engaged in all sorts of activities and outings and even enjoyed weekends away.
